The Bootup screen for the Hunt Library's Gamelab. The room is roughly 20 x 6 ft screen and one of its many features is its ability to play current and legacy video game consoles. To excite players and viewers I drew inspiration from the star ship theme for the room to show popular game characters universes colliding. I wanted the player to get an immediate sense that they are not just playing video games anymore but becoming apart of their universe.Computer Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Effects2013

Celebrating the opening of NC State's Hunt Library I was commissioned to create a video segment of the rain-garden outside the building. The client wanted an interactive video piece that would play at the entrance to the library for tourists and attendees.
Using a variety of digital and film techniques the goal was to pay an homage to the rain-garden placed across the entrance. Though the garden in visible it is inaccessible to the public, hence this motion graphic was to create visually what you couldn’t touch. By using graphic abstractions of the flora and fauna in the garden the goal was to take the viewer through the life of the plants. The segments depicted are birth, pollination, life, breakdown, and closure.Art Direction, Computer Animation, Motion Graphics2013
The James B. Hunt Library is a resource and technology rich entity at North Carolina State Universities Centennial Campus. Among the many educational resources, the library features a die-hard videogame fanboy's dream. A 16x9 tile touch-screen display with greater than 4k film resolution, almost every console on the market, including legacy gaming consoles along with connections for individual computers. This room embodies a part of Hunt where learning meets play. Hunt officials asked us to create a unique user experience and user interaction system which capitalized on their idea for the the space which was a place where students can play, learn, and work collaboratively.Branding, Information Architecture, UI/UX2013
Furnish is a visualizing application for interior design. With the use of Augmented Reality (AR), Planar Tracking, and Image Processing all on a mobile device users can scan their environment and replace with models of scanned shopping choices. The goal is to minimize frivolous spending and provide the consumer with well educated choices before anything is bought.Creative Direction, Interaction Design, UI/UX2013
